Madera Concurrent Enrollment Middle School - Madera, CA - Bids Due: 07/30/2019 02:00 PM
Harris Construction Co., Inc. will be bidding the Madera Concurrent Enrollment Middle School and invites you to submit a subcontractor bid for this project. Work consists of all subcontractor trades. Bid documents will be placed in The Fresno Builders Exchange and can also be viewed and/or downloaded from this site. The plans and specifications are not DSA approved yet but will be prior to issuing subcontract agreements. This projects bid date is July 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM and will consist of all new construction, and all site work. Job Walk & Outreach/Informational Event will be held 7/2/19 and 7/9/19 at 11 am. Location will be at the Virginia Lee Rose Elementary , 1001 Lilly St, Madera Ca 93638. (See Attached Flyer.) Discussion will include the project overview, schedule, MEP Pre-Qualification, AB566 Skilled and Trained Workforce and more. A positive response to this Invitation will insure that you will be notified of all Addenda. Please check this site on a regular basis to see if any changes have been made. DVBE Subcontractors & Vendors are encouraged to submit proposals. Pursuant to Educational Code section 17406 and Public Contract Code section 20111.6, school districts in California that use the Lease-Leaseback delivery method or use any state funds to finance the construction of their local school will be required to prequalify the general contractors, mechanical contractors, electrical contractors, and plumbing contractors (MEP) that seek to bid or negotiate a district's construction project. (Public Contract Code section 20111.6) Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing contractors subject to this requirement are those contractors who perform work on the project that requires any of the following license classifications: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-42, C-43, and C-46. The District uses a general prequalification package to meet this requirement. See the documents file for attached prequalification. Last day to prequalify is July 2, 2019. (See attached Prequal directions) Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No bid will be accepted nor any contract entered into without proof of the contractor’s and subcontractors’ current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the Project. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. In bidding on this project, it shall be the Bidder’s sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid. This project is subject to AB566 regulations.

Harris Construction Co., Inc. will be bidding the Reedley High School (New Field House, Wrestling Room Renovations and Site Improvements), (Adult School and Childcare Modular Buildings), and the (Ceramic and Classroom Modular Buildings) and invites you to submit a subcontractor bid for this project. Each project has a full set of plans and specifications. This will be bid as one project. Work consists of all subcontractor trades. Bid documents will be placed in The Fresno Builders Exchange and can also be viewed and/or downloaded from this site. The plans and specifications are not DSA approved yet but will be at time of bid. Harris Construction Co., Inc. will be bidding The New Central High School and invites you to submit a bid for this project. Work consists of all subcontractor trades. Plans & Specifications are available at Harris Construction for your review. Bid documents will be placed in The Builders Exchange and can also be viewed and/or downloaded from this site. Scope of work includes construction of a new 231,734 s.f. high school campus for the Central Unified School District. Campus to include an Administration Building, Gymnasium, Locker Room, Food Service, 3 Academic Classroom Buildings, and a large enclosed campus mall for a university feel. Duration is 732 Calendar Days. A positive response to this Invitation will insure that you will be notified of all Addenda. NOTE: Performance and Payment bonds may be required if bid amount is greater than $150,000 and for all subcontractors involved with the exterior envelope of the building. The bond must be from a company rated "A VII" or above by AM Best. The cost of the bond must be included in your bid. The Owner will require the successful bidder to achieve the minimum goal of 3% DVBE (Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises) established in the bidding documents or to provide acceptable evidence of good faith efforts to do so. DVBE Subcontractors & Vendors are encouraged to submit proposals. All contractors utilizing carpenters, cement masons, or laborers must be signatory to the union or sign a one-time agreement. This project is using state bond funds and is therefore subject to labor compliance monitoring and investigative activities bu the Compliance Monitoring Unit (CMU) of the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California (DIR), in conformance with Labor Code Sections 1771.55 and 1771.75, and subchapter 4.5 (Commencing with section 16450) of title 8 of the California Code of Regulations. In bidding on this project, it shall be the Bidder’s sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid. This project is subject to pre-qualification. If the bidder is not pre-qualified to bid on this Project, the bid will not be accepted by the owner. Any subcontractor listed by the bidder for work requiring C-4, C-7, C-10-, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, or C-46 licenses mus have current pre-qualfied status with the Owner.
