Harris Construction Co., Inc. will be bidding The SCCCD West Fresno Campus and invites you to submit a bid for this project. Work consists of all subcontractor trades. Plans & Specifications are available at Harris Construction for your review. Bid documents will be placed in The Builders Exchange and can also be viewed and/or downloaded from this site. Scope of work includes construction of a new 40 acre campus for the State Center Community College District. Campus to include an , 2-Story Classroom (32000 SF), and single story Automotive Training Center Bldg. (75000 SF). Site work includes Parking Area, Hardscape & Landscaping Duration is 667 Calendar Days. A positive response to this Invitation will insure that you will be notified of all Addenda. Please check this site on a regular basis to see if any changes have been made. NOTE: Performance and Payment bonds may be required if bid amount is greater than $150,000 and for all subcontractors. The bond must be from a company rated "A VII" or above by AM Best. The cost of the bond must be included in your bid. This project includes a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) agreement. It is included in the Specifications. The Letter of Assent included in the PLA will need to be signed and sent in with your bid on bid day or prior to confirm all PLA requirements. This project is using state bond funds and is therefore subject to labor compliance monitoring and investigative activities bu the Compliance Monitoring Unit (CMU) of the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California (DIR), in conformance with Labor Code Sections 1771.55 and 1771.75, and subchapter 4.5 (Commencing with section 16450) of title 8 of the California Code of Regulations. In bidding on this project, it shall be the Bidder’s sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid. A Pre-Bid Clarification Letter will be sent to most trades for review and to be filled out and sent back to Harris Construction.

Campus to include an Admin/Library/Multi-Use/Kitchen (19,231 SF), 2-Story Classroom (61,291 SF), Clinic (2,616 SF), Snack Bar (1,080 SF). Site work includes Parking Area, Hardscape, Play fields, Court Space, Utilities, Offsite Improvements, Demolition of existing school. Duration is 610 Calendar Days. Prime Contractors must list prequalified mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors or in order for their bid to be "responsive". Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing subcontractors are contractors holding either: C-4, C-7, C16, C20, C34, C36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46 contractors license. Prequalified Prime Contractor may self-perform electrical, plumbing, mechanical work if prequalified under applicable licenses. Questionnaire and Financial Statement shall be submitted directly to District Purchasing Department no later than 2:00 PM, April 1, 2020.
