Harris Construction Co., Inc. will be bidding The Allan Hancock JCCD Mesa STEM Portable Project and invites you to submit a bid for this project. Work consists of all subcontractor trades. Plans & Specifications are available at Harris Construction for your review. Bid documents will be placed in The Builders Exchange and can also be viewed and/or downloaded from this site. Scope of work includes construction of a New STEM Classroom building utilizing a AMS Portable Building. The scope of work consists of but is not limited to: Site Prep, Grading, Site Concrete, Landscape, Steel Canopy, Fire Alarm/LV,Plumbing and signage. A positive response to this Invitation will insure that you will be notified of all Addenda. Please check this site on a regular basis to see if any changes have been made. NOTE: Performance and Payment bonds may be required if bid amount is greater than $150,000 and for all subcontractors. The bond must be from a company rated "A VII" or above by AM Best. The cost of the bond must be included in your bid. This project is using state bond funds and is therefore subject to labor compliance monitoring and investigative activities by the Compliance Monitoring Unit (CMU) of the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, Department of Industrial Relations of the State of California (DIR), in conformance with Labor Code Sections 1771.55 and 1771.75, and subchapter 4.5 (Commencing with section 16450) of title 8 of the California Code of Regulations. In bidding on this project, it shall be the Bidder’s sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its bid.

INVITATION TO PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF: California State University, Fresno "TOCA" (Task Order Construction Agreement) Projects. Harris Construction Co., Inc. (Harris) is seeking Prequalification Proposals from qualified subcontactors for the construction of various "TOCA" projects to occur under a Master Enabling Agreement (MEA) Harris has with California State University, Fresno. These projects may include: HVAC, Lighting, Metering (Electrical & Mechanical), Fire Alarm & Fire Suppression System Upgrade projects. These projects will be located on campus at 5241 N. Maple Ave, Fresno Ca 93740. We are seeking to prequalify both MEPF Design Build Subcontractors and also Traditional Subcontractors (Design-Bid Build) for supplemental work i.e. abatement demo, fire stopping, and various patching (drywall, plaster, paint, roofing) required by these upgrade projects. These projects shall start construction over the next 3 years, and have a combined maximum of 30 Million. The MEA will end with whichever comes first (3 years/30 Million and no single project will be over 7 million.

INVITATION TO PREQUALIFICATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF: California State University, Fresno "TOCA" (Task Order Construction Agreement) Projects. Prequalification Package is due on 10/15/20. Email package to Courtney Miller cmiller@harrisconstruction.com. DVBE, SB, and Local Subcontractors are encouraged and incentivized. Harris Construction Co., Inc. has committed to 6% DVBE guarantee for these projects. These projects will consist of various MEPF upgrades in multiple buildings across the campus and the supplemental work that comes with this type of project (Demo, Abatement, Patch, etc)
Reedley HS Baseball Stadium & Soccer Field - Reedley, CA 93654 - Bids Due: 08/25/2020 02:00 PM
Harris Construction Co., Inc. will be bidding the Reedley High School Baseball Stadium and Soccer Field and invites you to submit a subcontractor bid for this project. Each project has a full set of plans and specifications. This will be bid as one project, however bids submitted must be broken out by either the Baseball or Soccer portion. Work consists of all subcontractor trades. Bid documents will be placed in The Fresno Builders Exchange and can also be viewed and/or downloaded from this site. The plans and specifications for the Baseball Stadium are DSA approved however the Soccer Field is not DSA approved yet but will be by time of bid. This projects bid date is August 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM and will consist of all new construction, including a new Baseball field, Grandstands, Ticket Booth, Electrical Yard Grandstands themselves will be owner furnished, and all site work. Additionally construction will include a (N) Soccer Field and lighting, Entry Node and associated sitework. Job Walk will be held 8/10/2020 and 8/12/2020 at 10 am. Location will be at the Reedley High School in parking lot adjacent to the pool off of Manning Ave. 740 W. North Avenue, Reedley Ca. Discussion will include the project overview, schedule, MEP Pre-Qualification, AB566 Skilled and Trained Workforce and more. Pursuant to Educational Code section 17406 and Public Contract Code section 20111.6, school districts in California that use the Lease-Leaseback delivery method or use any state funds to finance the construction of their local school will be required to prequalify the general contractors, mechanical contractors, electrical contractors, and plumbing contractors (MEP) that seek to bid or negotiate a district's construction project. (Public Contract Code section 20111.6) Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing contractors subject to this requirement are those contractors who perform work on the project that requires any of the following license classifications: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-42, C-43, and C-46. The District uses a general prequalification package to meet this requirement. See the documents file for attached prequalification and current pre-qualified contractor list. Last day to prequalify is August 3, 2020 at 5pm. Pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No bid will be accepted nor any contract entered into without proof of the contractor’s and subcontractors’ current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations to perform public work. If awarded a Contract, the Bidder and its subcontractors, of any tier, shall maintain active registration with the Department of Industrial Relations for the duration of the Project. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
